Walk in Vieux-Saint-Jean
A guided walking tour reveals the hidden facts behind four important locations that marked regional history. See the Chambly Canal site, the first Canadian railway line, Place du Marché and Fort Saint-Jean from a different perspective.
In 2011, La Promenade (the walk) is offered every week-ends until September 4.

Audio tour of L'Acadie (available in French only)
This audio features accounts by ancestors describing their origins. The tour highlights passages from the annals of the historic L'Acadie sector of the city of Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Along both tour routes, on foot and by road, accounts by folks having lived in these locations during different eras breathe life into their daily routines. Through historic buildings, the physician, the notary, the sexton and even the parish priest describe their residences, workplaces and historic facts.
